North American culture consumes so much and our belly-buster is the holiday season. Great times with friends and family - a perfect party isn't always based on the decorations. Sometimes sharing a fun experience is the best gift. Quality time can also include a quality green theme - No plastic!
You don't have to advertise your green party either, you can do it and see if anyone notices the change. A change for you and a change for them. Change is good and the easiest green changes are the ones we do ourselves. Living smarter has its benefits, even some you may never realise.
Try something simple and cut down on your plastic party and try a more natural approach. Who knows what it will sprout. Why not donate on behalf of your guests rather than a less valued act?
